Loved how beautiful little and peaceful the property was. Its location was wonderful, short walk to the ocean as well as a great island. Furthermore, near to the sea side & fishing villages. We had slices of fresh bread, eggs, and meats in the morning.

the hotel offers marvellous and great breakfast with fresh home made jams, local specialties. very very helpful and excellent people that welcomes you in.

The hotel is located next to a serene garden and in a peaceful area just a 10-minute drive from Elephant trunk.

The location of this hotel is perfect - it's in a quiet spot that's super close to the bus stop, surrounded by nature. the breakfast they serve is amazing, with delicious homemade jams. Plus, the staff here are top-notch! 😊❤

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! We could see the sparkling sea and majestic mountains, making for the perfect backdrop. As a nature-loving family, it truly made us feel connected to the beautiful surroundings.

Personally, we found the flat-screen TV in our triple room a bit small for our liking. However, others may still enjoy it, so it's purely a matter of personal preference.

The beds are extremely comfortable with central heating, there is a television, and a refrigerator available; the staff is helpful and excellent, and the breakfast is great.

The only downside is that the exterior of the building and grounds could use a bit more cosmetic finishing to enhance its overall appearance.

We were pleasantly surprised by Quinta Das Hortencias. The location was perfect for exploring the island of Sao Miguel. The beautiful building and stunning garden added to the overall charm. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The owners were extremely friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sao Miguel.
